South East Game Shooting is represented by Darren Ollerenshaw and Alex Burden. Both land owners, friends, and when shooting even rivals! With over 60 years of game shooting experience between them have teamed up to create South East Game Shooting.

Why 'South East Game Shooting'......? I love everything about the great outdoors, especially shooting. When I travel away on an organised shooting trip I'm always impressed by the level of hospitality we receive.  I have my own busy Pub/Restaurant and have 13 years experience in the hospitality sector. That is why I've teamed up with Darren to make sure we offer the very best food, accommodation, and all round service.  Shooting is about good sport, good company and the overall craic! And that is what South East Game Shooting guarantees to deliver.

I have been following country sports since the age of twelve, started shooting in my teens and have shot with Alex and his family since then. Also, I have for a number of years been running a small commercial shoot on a rented marsh. While in my twenties, I helped on a large commercial shoot and personally promoted the running of available days at this facility. Over the last ten years or so, I have run my local farmers’ syndicate (on 5,000+ acres), which also consisted of selling a few days on this shoot through the season. Living and shooting on Sheppey means you grow up with duck shooting running through your veins. With both of us having travelled away, shooting in many different parts of the country gives us a total insight into what people want. I feel that the combination of these experiences and Alex’s expertise in the hospitality sector makes a perfect combination for this venture. A day shooting away is about the whole experience, not just the shooting or the accommodation, but a combination of everything and of course the company you are with. To have both parties understanding what you want is not unique but unusual, especially when we are offering smaller driven days.
